The belt buckle

Last Sunday was a wonderful time on the ice. We had four player per side. This opens up the ice for practicing new moves. We had a player show up late who is very good with the puck. He can go up and down without little challenge in a non checking game. My mind drifted back to Edsel Ford High School an as a junior playing football. As a player on defense  we were taught never look at what the ball carrier is doing or faking. Let everything go and connect with his or her belt buckle area. The offensive player can make all kinds of fakes , but the belt buckle area will not move. So that is the area I focused on and his tricks were eliminated on my encounters with him.
